Future of three major WWE Championships : WWE has been going through a series of changes for some time now. Its effects are visible everywhere – from management to roster.
Many former WWE Superstars have returned since Triple H became the new creative head and few more stars would be a part of the Stamford-based promotion in the future.
According to some reports, Triple H would be involved in changing the designs of some titles. Hunter wants to change the look of at least three championships.
The new designs of some championships were being discussed even before the retirement of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon. Now it is believed that Triple H could complete the process of change.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, at least three newly designed championships could soon be made part of the WWE programming.
However, it is not yet known whether these titles will have Velcro straps or snap buttons. While talking to Fightful, several talents said that they like Velcro more because it gets attached quickly but it looks very odd.
The design of the current WWE Championship is one of the longest used designs.
Many wrestling fans might remember that earlier the designs of all the championships were completely different from each other.
There are currently 4 championships in WWE, which look almost the same. These include the Raw and SmackDown Women’s championships as well as the Universal and WWE championships held by Roman Reigns.
Triple H recently changed the multicolour logo of NXT as well. Sapp further stated that The Game may change the designs of some championships of Raw, SmackDown and NXT in the future.
According to Sapp, if the WWE World championship’s design doesn’t change by next year, it will become the design used for the longest time, leaving the Winged Eagle Championship behind.
If the current WWE Title belt design stays the same through next year, it'll pass the Winged Eagle as the longest that a design of the top WWE title has stuck around.
