WWE Hall Of Famer Edge will probably not be seen on TV for a few months now. Reportedly, Triple H and the creative team have decided to hand him a break from action.
This is probably why his injury angle was booked for Raw. The last episode of Raw saw a singles match between Edge and Dominik Mysterio.
Egde was dominating the match against an inexperienced Dominik. Rey Mysterio came to his son’s rescue and tried to stop Edge.
He was later attacked by Judgment Day and due to this the match ended in a disqualification, but Edge got the victory.
After the match, Dominic Mysterio kept smashing Rated R superstar on his already injured knees with a steel chair. Later Finn Balor delivered a coup de grace to his knees after placing the injured leg on a chair.

Now Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed that WWE is probably going to keep former World Champion away from TV. That’s why they booked this angle at the end of Raw.
“This thing happened to Edge because his contract is limited and that’s why he can’t come every week. That’s why maybe another injury angle was shown.”
Edge praised Triple H for becoming the creative head
In an interview with Bleacher Report, Rated R superstar talked about Triple H becoming the creative head.
“I know Paul (Triple H) sees things as a fan, just like I do. It means you’re booking things with a fan’s eye. He’s got Karrion Kross back. He brought Dakota Kai back. It’s fun to be in the company right now. It’s a time of change and it’s different but it’s fun doing something different.”
Edge is all in on the Triple H era of WWE 🤘
