This week on Raw, Bobby Lashley defended his US Title in a match against Seth Rollins. Just before the match, Brock Lesnar made a comeback and unleashed a ferocious attack on Bobby.
Brock Lesnar thrashed Bobby so bad that it looked almost impossible for him to participate in the US Title match.
The visionary Seth Rollins provoked Lashley to a fight.
When Bobby Lashley was being taken backstage after being attacked, Seth Rollins cleverly provoked him to fight the match. He wanted to take advantage of the situation.
Although not fully fit, Lashley agreed to defend his title. Despite his bad physical condition, Bobby gave a tremendous fight to Seth Rollins.
However, that was not enough to defeat Seth Rollins. Brock Lesnar had greatly eased the task that was before him.
In the end, Rollins won the match by delivering two consecutive stomps and became the new US Champion.
Rollins ends his much awaited championship draught.
Let us tell you, Rollins has won a championship in WWE after 953 days, which was quite surprising considering his stature in the company.
Rollins last became the Champion in WWE in January 2020 when he won the Raw Tag Team Championship with his disciple, Buddy Murphy.
This is the second time that Seth Rollins has won the US Championship during his career. He last became US Champion more than 7 years ago when Rollins defeated John Cena at SummerSlam 2015 in a double title match.
All “The Shield” members are champions now.
All The Shield members are currently champions in their respective companies. Rollins has just become the US Champion.
Whereas, Roman Reigns remains the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Having parted ways with WWE, Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose is currently the World Champion in AEW.
