The Switchblade Jay White is viewed by many as one of the biggest stars on the independent circuit. The Bullet Club Leader is however coming off a huge loss at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
With White set to compete in another possible match with high stakes, his tenure in Japan might be coming to an end. Moreover, his destination has already become the talk of the wrestling world.
Jay White has made a name for himself wrestling for various promotions. He was a part of Ring of Honor, Revolution Pro Wrestling, and of course New Japan Pro Wrestling.
In 2018 he succeeded Kenny Omega as the leader of Bullet Club. His association with the popular faction skyrocketed his popularity even further.
Jay White was recently involved in a high-stakes world championship at Wrestle Kingdom 17. He was defending his IWGP World championship against Kazuchika Okada in the main event. However, the ending saw Okada pinning White to the mat and slithering the World title from him.
Furthermore, The Switchblade next teamed up with his faction members, El Phantasmo, KENTA, and Taiji Ishimori to face the team of Master Wato, Tama Tonga, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Hikuleo at New Year’s Dash 2023.
The match ending saw a disqualification with Bullet Club destroying their opponents. Moreover, Jay White then went on to challenge his former faction member Hikuleo to a “Loser Leaves Japan match.” The match is yet to be made official by the NJPW management.

Is WWE Jay White’s next destination?
The Switchblade losing the IWGP World championship and challenging Hikuleo to a match with a high-stakes stipulation has led to a lot of speculations surrounding his next destination. Fans have been exploding on Twitter regarding White’s tenure in Japan coming to an end.
This has also led to rumors that Jay White could possibly arrive in WWE under Triple H’s regime. He could potentially follow in the footsteps of fellow Bullet Club member AJ Styles and debut as a surprise entrant in the 2023 Royal Rumble match.
WWE has shown great interest in him in the past. Although NJPW star had clarified that he was not contacted by WWE or AEW so far, he did express his wish to fight Randy Orton in a podcast appearance with Renee Young last year.

Jay White becoming the newest addition to WWE could take the company’s ratings to a much higher level. It can also give him an opportunity to reform the Bullet Club in the company alongside AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows.
