After losing the Title to Roxanne Perez last month, Mandy Rose was unexpectedly let go by WWE. Mandy had since been silent on this matter and didn’t say anything in public.
However, a month after being fired, Mandy Rose finally spoke about being released from WWE in a recent conversation with Tamron Hall.
Mandy remarked that WWE never disclosed the real cause behind her termination. She claimed she was never told whether being fired was related to her FanTime page.
Rose also mentioned briefly a few other issues associated with the same matter. One key thing that she revealed was that WWE had earlier advised her to remove posts from FanTime page.
After participating in the sixth season of Tough-Enough, the 32-year-old superstar was hired by WWE in 2015. When she debuted on the main roster, she was accompanied by Paige and Sonya Deville.
When Rose returned to NXT in 2021, she had a significant character transformation. She captured the NXT Women’s title and established the Toxic Attraction faction.
With a reign lasting over 430 days, Mandy did a fantastic job as the NXT Women’s Champion. However, on a regular episode of NXT, she was shockingly booked to lose the championship, and the following day, she was dismissed.
Mandy Rose earned 4 times of her WWE salary in December
According to reports, Rose made a million dollars in December on her FanTime page. After being dismissed for seven days, half of that was earned.
Despite being released from WWE, the former NXT Women’s Champion has achieved great success outside of the professional wrestling business.
Mandy Rose also purchased a new Rolls Royce Dawn costing $340,000 recently. So it looks like, for the time being, parting ways with WWE has blessed her financially.
There were reports that WWE was open to Mandy Rose’s return at some point of time in futurr but for now she is done with the company.
