Triple H open to CM Punk’s WWE return: Would CM Punk return to the WWE? Is the probability real? The erstwhile WWE Champion may return to the promotion, despite what some fans may believe. In 2014, Punk parted ways with WWE bitterly after being dismissed on his marriage day.
Punk did receive an apology from Vince McMahon, the former head of WWE, but it was insufficient, and Punk continued to criticise the business.
Punk made his AEW debut in 2021 after a 7-year hiatus from sports entertainment. Given his background, Punk rose fast through the ranks of AEW and twice claimed the championship.
However, he hasn’t appeared on television in a while, and it’s unknown whether he will ever comeback to AEW. However under Triple H, the road for his WWE comeback might be open.
According to Fightful.com, Triple H is open to the return of CM Punk
Fightful.com spoke with WWE insiders, who declined to speak in an official sense but gave them a little background knowledge.
They stated that Fox had pressured for Punk’s return but WWE chose not to have him back. Subsequently, Punk was hired by AEW.
However, they also maintained that they didn’t believe Vince McMahon would have welcomed CM Punk back, particularly following this backstage brawl.”
However, the perspective that was promoted to us during the Triple H era is that “everything within reason” can be allowed if the appropriate circumstances, money, and ideas are available.
One person commented,
“Triple H intends above all to be a hit and produce exciting content and CM Punk returning to WWE is exciting stuff”
However, he also said that a full-time deal was a long shot,
“But I doubt that this will be a full-time gig like what he has with AEW, considering precisely what transpired there. Even that is only possible when Punk is ready to comeback. He might not have to work again if he receives a buyout.”
