Sami Zayn of The Bloodline recently discussed what he would have done in his professional career if he were not a WWE Superstar.
As he cautiously strove to win Roman Reigns’ acceptance this year, Zayn has displayed an amazing capacity of fan connection.
In order to prove his allegiance to The Bloodline, Sami didn’t mind delivering a low blow and sacrificing his close buddy Kevin Owens at Survivor Series: Wargames.
The Great Liberator helped The Bloodline win the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames match, and Jey Uso accepted him as a member of the group.
When Jey Uso hugged the Honorary Uce, the entire arena erupted. This not only further solidified Sami Zayn’s place in the faction, but also put an end to several rumors regarding The Bloodline.
The WWE Universe seemed overjoyed as Reigns and Zayn hugged after having won the men’s WarGames battle at the Survivor Series, regardless of the fact that both performers were technically considered heels.
Sami Zayn discussed his other career options
Zayn is excellent on the microphone. If wrestling hadn’t worked out for him, he told Sports Illustrated that he’d have sought a career as a teacher:
“I would have chosen a humanities-related field of study in teaching. I was the only one who my English teachers didn’t despise. The only people who recognised my talent were them. Teachers in math were usually annoyed by me.”
Zayn continued, saying that he is running out of time in the ring and wants to pass on the knowledge he has gained over the past 20 years:
“Even now, I feel that my days as an in-ring entertainer are rather numbered. For me, sharing the knowledge I’ve been able to acquire over the past 20 years still is meaningful.”
That means, Sami Zayn would prefer coaching newer generations of talent and help them with his vast experience, after he retires from in-ring-competition.
