Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins ended the year by illustrating that he is still at the peak of his abilities despite having experienced the significant number of defeats in 2022.
Rollins had more losses in 2022 than anybody else in WWE. Starting with a conflict with Roman Reigns, his former mate, Seth Rollins had an incredible year.
He also competed for the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble and won by disqualification.
However, since championship can’t change hands in a disqualification finish, he couldn’t win the title. After that, Rollins wrestled Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38 as a mystery competitor.
It was a fantastic match, and the both of them later squared off at WrestleMania Backlash and Hell in a Cell. This rivalry was cut short due to Cody Rhodes injury.
Seth Rollins has competed in 120 battles altogether this year, combining house shows, Premium Live Events, and TV appearances, as per Cagematch.net.
The former WWE Champ has a total of 74 losses out of 120 fights, with 61.7% odds of losing. That is a surprising number and still has no effect on his popularity.
Rollins is closely followed by WWE Superstars Austin Theory and AJ Styles, who have 82 defeats in 122 bouts and 25 losses in 70 fights, respectively.
The Workhorse of the Year award went to Seth Rollins
The former WWE Champion also engaged in a contentious conflict with Matt Riddle following his feuds with The American Nightmare and The Head of The Table. In a Fight Pit contest with Matt Riddle, Seth Rollins came up short.
Although he recently won the United States Championship after a sabbatical of three years, Austin Theory managed to defeat him at Survivor Series, taking away the championship.
On Fox’s official Twitter account, WWE held the poll to elect the Workhorse of the Year 2022 and Rollins emerged as the rightful winner.
