Paige AEW debut : AEW Dynamite GrandSlam turned out to be a great show despite everything that had happened after Punk’s media scrum at ‘All Out’.
The company seemed to have moved from the chaos really well, and gave a big surprise to the fans. Dynamite GrandSlam saw the debut of former WWE superstar Paige.
The former WWE Divas Champion used her real name Saraya (Saraya-Jade Bevis), in her first appearance on AEW TV following the Women’s Championship match.
Toni Storm won the Fatal-4-Way match for AEW Women’s Championship that took place on the show. She defeated Serena Deeb, Britt Baker and Athena to retain her title.
Frustrated by the loss, Dr. Britt Baker & Co. were about to attack Toni Storm & Athena. Before they could do so, Saraya came out and stunned everyone in the arena.

Fans had no idea that Paige would be making a debut. They cheered for Saraya and welcomed her to AEW in a grand way.
After Paige’s arrival, Britt Baker & Team, who were in the ring at the time, were forced to go to ringside. The expressions of the superstars at ringside were worth watching.
Earlier, Paige had broke the news in June that she would be leaving the company after her contract expired on July 7. She had retired from in-ring competition in 2018.
She did not appear on WWE television for a long time before its release. Paige had a stellar WWE career. However, she was forced to take retirement at a very young age due to serious injury.
After retiring from in-ring competition, Paige was briefly used in on-screen managerial roles on WWE television. She appeared in the role of SmackDown’s general manager.
Since Page has made his AEW debut, it will be interesting to see what role he is offered in this company. Most of the reports have indicated that she would be wrestling in AEW.
