WWE legend The Rock had put an end to his wrestling career many years ago. However, for the past few months, it has been speculated that he will fight against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
Now the People’s Champion has tweeted to express his desire to fight a classic tag-team match. This tweet came after AEW star Matt Hardy’s recent tweet about The Hurricane.
Matt Hardy described The Hurricane as one of the best wrestlers in tag team matches. He further said that the wrestlers who train under his supervision will get long-term benefits.
In all seriousness, @ShaneHelmsCom is one of the best wrestlers EVAH. People who get to pick his brain & sit under his learning tree as a producer are lucky, he’s a wrestling genius. https://t.co/zyCbeXQlPb

A fan tagged The Rock in the comments and reminded Matt Hardy that The Hurricane has never defeated The People’s Champion.
The Rock also couldn’t stop joining the exchange session and expressed his desire to fight a classic bout with The Hardy Boys.
The former WWE Champion wrote:
“I agree with what Matt Hardy is saying. The Hurricane is a great wrestler. Why not fight a tag team championship match. I and the Hurricane team up and take on Matt and Jeff Hardy.”
My boys!! I co sign what Matt said!
Hurricane is the best. Let’s have a tag match for the titles. Me & Shane vs you & Jeff. Special guest referee…

The Rock last fought at WrestleMania 32 for 6 seconds.
The Rock had his last match in WWE at WrestleMania 32, where he made history by defeating Erik Rowan in just 6 seconds. Now more than six years have passed since that match.
Before that, it was 2013 when he made a WWE comeback after three years and worked regularly. He gave two memorable matches during that stint.
People’s Champion defeated CM Punk to end his historical championship run at the Royal Rumble. He was then involved in a feud with John Cena.
The Rock dropped the title to John Cena after a thrilling match at WrestleMania 2013. It marked the end of his 2nd stint.
WWE expects that The Rock will be back for one last match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, which would be historic.
Hence speculations are rife that The Rock will be the superstar who will end this historic title run of his family member, Roman.
