Austin Theory managed to defeat Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley at the Survivor Series : War Games premium live event to win his second US Championship.
As the match started, Bobby Lashley sent Theory to the floor. Lashley and Rollins traded strikes and then Bobby delivered shoulder thrusts on Seth trapping him in the corner.
Bobby threw Theory to the timekeeper’s area. Austin tried to come back with a chair shot but Lashley blocked it. Lashley singlehandedly dominated first phase of the match.
When Austin Theory and Lashley were fighting at the ringside, Seth hit Bobby off the apron with a diving knee. This changed the momentum of the match.
Rollins then drove The Almighty into the steel steps and then tried to use them as a weapon. However, Theory cut him off before he could do that.
Theory himself grabbed the steel steps and rammed Bobby Lashley. He then delivered a Rolling Thunder Dropkick to Seth, following it up with stomps.
He took Lashley to the floor and threw him into the barricade. Back inside, he threw right hands and shoves on Rollins. Seth came back at him and delivered a Sling Blade.
He followed it up with a basement superkick and Theory fell to the ringside. Rollins then launched himself on his opponents on either sides the ring.
At a point in the matchup, Lashley got the Hurt Lock on Rollins, but Theory came from behind and put a sleeper hold on Lashley at the same time. Lashley was forced to remove the lock on Rollins and dumped Theory over the ropes.
Rollins delivered a Pedigree on Lashley but he managed to kick out. Bobby applied Hurt Lock on Theory. However, he stepped up the turnbuckles to reverse it into a pin attempt. Seth saved the match at a count of two by delivering a Phoenix Splash on Lashley.
At the end, Rollins delivered a superplex on Austin. He then tried to go for the Falcon Arrow but was speared by Lashley. Momentum of him move took Bobby a bit far from Rollins.
Before Lashley could come back Theory who fell next to Rollins covered him for the pin. Austin Theory won his second US Title at the Survivor Series : War Games.
