Working in AEW and WWE, Luke Harper never captured a world championship, but his influence on the WWE and AEW was most notable behind the scenes, where he always made every co-worker smile.
Seth Rollins took some time during a WWE Holiday Tour Supershow in Rochester, New York, to remember his late friend.
Rollins remarked, “He passed away around this time a couple of years ago. “I’ve truly come out here in his city with a microphone to tell him how much I love and miss him.”
“Just wanted to let him know that tonight was for him. Every time we visit Rochester, I know in my heart that we’re here for him.” Rollins added.

Amanda Huber, the widow of former WWE and AEW performer Jon Huber (also known as Luke Harper/Brodi Lee), thanked Seth Rollins for his heartfelt tribute to his colleague.

As a member of the Dark Order, Lee’s son Brodie Lee Jr. carries on his father’s legacy in AEW. When he is old enough “The Negative One” Lee Jr. plans to work for AEW
When Harper tragically passed away on December 26, 2020, he was a member of AEW. So WWE had little opportunity to pay homage to the former Tag Team Champion on live television.
WWE aired a vignette on Raw and later released a video on YouTube where superstars honored the legacy of Luke Harper. Vince McMahon had also tweeted and offered his condolences for Huber family.

Before joining WWE in 2012, Brodie Lee competed for almost 20 years, making his mark in Chikara and Dragon Gate USA. He joined The Wyatt Family there, standing alongside Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan, and had success there.
He won many tag titles, including two SmackDown Tag Title reigns with Wyatt and Randy Orton and two NXT and SmackDown Tag Title reigns with Erick Rowan. Lee also held the WWE IC Championship once.
Lee only stayed in AEW for a short time, yet his influence on that promotion was profound. Lee successfully won the AEW TNT Title and elevated the Dark Order to main event status.
