The WWE Extreme Rules 2022 premium live event turned out to be a spectacular one. At the conclusion of the show, fans got to see the return of Bray Wyatt.
WWE delivered good matches which impressed the fans. A major title change was also witnessed at the event.
The varying stipulations like Fight Pit, I Quit, Strap, Ladder, Donnybrook etc. added to the excitement. Here are the results and video highlights of Extreme Rules 2022.

1. The Brawling Brutes vs Imperium
The Brawling Brutes’ Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch faced off against Imperium’s Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in an Irish Donnybrook match.
The match was full of great action. It was a seesaw affair between the teams but in the end Sheamus put his finisher on Vinci and pinned him for the win.

2. Ronda Rousey vs Liv Morgan
This was an “Extreme Rules Match” between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Tables, chairs, baseball bats to fire extinguishers – everything was used as a weapon during the fight.
At the end, Ronda trapped Morgan in her submission hold and she passed out. Ronda Rousey won the match to become the new champion.
Winner : Ronda Rousey

3. Karrion Kross vs Drew McIntyre
This was a Strap Match between Karrion Kross and Drew McIntyre. At first Kross refused to wear the strap and this led to a brawl. McIntyre later began the match by cuffing the strap on the opponent.
Drew dominated for the most part of the match and was inching close to a victory. However, Scarlett came inside the ring at the last moment and put pepper spray in his eyes. Karrion Kross took advantage of the situation and pinned McIntyre for the win.
Result : Karrion Kross won the match

4. Bayley vs Bianca Belair
It was a ladder match between Bianca Belair and Bayley for the Raw Women’s Championship. It was a great match but Bianca had the upper hand in the final stages.
Io Skye and Dakota Kai interfered but still Bayley couldn’t win the match. At the end, Belair climbed up the ladder and took out the title for the win.
Result : Bianca Belair wins to retain the title

5. Edge vs Finn Balor
This was an “I Quit” match between Edge and Finn Balor. The Judgment Day interfered in this match to help Balor, while Rey Mysterio and Beth Phoenix came out to assist Edge.

Rey was attacked by his own son Dominik before Beth Phoenix took out everyone to change the direction of the match. However, Beth ultimately proved to be weak link for Edge.
Rhea was about to deliver a chair shot to Phoenix’s head, when Edge said “I quit” to stop her. However, Rhea still delivered the blow at the end.
Result : Finn Balor won

6. Matt Riddle vs Seth Rollins
The main event was a Fight Pit match between Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins. It was a brilliant match but Matt Riddle used his MMA experience to good effect and trapped Rollins in submission to win the match.
Result : Matt Riddle won via submission

At the end of the match, Bray Wyatt came back with a bang. This was the best thing about the entire show.
