Bully Ray, the former WWE superstar, has outlined why he doesn’t want to see Bray Wyatt reprise his role as The Fiend.
At Extreme Rules, Wyatt made a comeback to WWE, and various members (puppets) of the Firefly Fun House crew made an appearance around the venue.
The erstwhile Universal Champion Bray Wyatt subsequently appeared on SmackDown, where he gave a heartfelt speech and thanked the audience for their love.
Bully Ray discussed the problems The Fiend character encountered during Wyatt’s first stint in WWE on the most recent episode of Busted Open.
The Hall of Famer feels he was confused by the persona and doesn’t wish for WWE to adopt it once more.
“He seems to be the perfect gimmick, yes, but sometimes I feel like it’s a touch too gimmicky. Despite the fact that The Undertaker was the greatest gimmick, you knew who you were when the lights turned on and the bells rung because he fought in matches as The Undertaker.” Bully Ray stated.
He went on:
“Quite often the fights I get from Bray Wyatt or The Fiend leave me perplexed; in fact, I probably might not even call Bray Wyatt because I believe the bouts were much simpler to grasp and process when Bray Wyatt used to be a member of the Wyatt Family. Because of the mismatch that I believe exists between The Fiend and real wrestling, I feel they avoid using The Fiend persona.”
Mark Henry, who was a guest on the show as well, believes that WWE may use Bray Wyatt in a wide range of storylines.
The rumoured plans for Bray Wyatt and Wyatt 6 in WWE
According to rumours, Wyatt and his alleged group called, Wyatt 6, are in the long-term plans of WWE.
According to sources, the organisation has planned for the faction already upto WrestleMania next year, that takes place in Hollywood.
However, it has not yet been made known who will constitute the new group or even if such group is actually in the making.
The Wyatt Family stable, which also consisted of Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan, and the late Luke Harper, was originally led by Wyatt.
