“I am not that close to him” – Solo Sikoa on his relationship with cousin Roman Reigns

WWE Superstar Solo Sikoa last month revealed some interesting details about his relationship with cousin Roman Reigns as a child.

In case you don’t know, Solo Sikoa is son of veteran Rikishi and real-life brother of Jimmy and Jey Uso. He worked on NXT before he made his main roster debut at Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff.

Roman Reigns and his cousins The Usos have been very close to each other since childhood. Even in WWE, they have always been there for one another when it was required. However, that is not the case with Solo Sikoa.

In an interview with Cheat Heat’s Peter Rosenberg, while talking about the relationship with Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa said –

“I hadn’t met Roman Reigns for almost 20 years before I met him in Cardiff. We weren’t that close to each other but he always used to be around our house, with my brothers (The Usos).”

“They played together because he was of their age and I was much younger than him so we were not that close.”

Solo further said :

“Now that I have become a part of the business, I am closer to him despite the age difference. This is because Roman Reigns is the elder brother and he has been here for a long time.”

Solo Sikoa feels lucky that he gets feedback from The Bloodline

When Solo Sikoa was asked whether he had received any kind of advice from Roman Reigns and other superstars in WWE, he replied –

“Yes, many people try to give me advice. I feel Roman Reigns, my brothers and Sami Zayn have already given me enough advice, so they don’t have to.”

” I think I am lucky enough to work with Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and The Usos because they are always giving me feedback.  I’m lucky that because in the past and even now many people won’t do that.”

The Bloodline will lock horns with The Brawling Brutes, Kevin Owens and Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series : War Games. This will be a big challenge for Roman Reigns who remains undefeated for a long time.

Sheamus and McIntyre defeated the Usos on the latest episode of SmackDown to secure the advantage heading into the match. It will be interesting to see what will be the outcome of this match.
