After the match, WWE interviewer Megan Morant tried to interview Liv Morgan. Morgan, who was sitting quietly backstage , refused to answer any of Megan’s questions.
This gesture by Liv Morgan could be a sign that Liv may soon be seen in a new and most possibly a dark character.
Let us tell you, although she debuted on the main roster as a part of heel faction Riott Squad, 28-year-old Liv Morgan has been booked mostly as babyface during her singles career.
However, it looks like now Liv may appear in a completely different character in the times to come. Chances of her turning into a cold hearted heel character can’t be ruled out.
Liv Morgan has been heavily criticised in the past few months
Liv Morgan received a lot of criticism from fans on social media after her controversial victory against Ronda Rousey at WWE SummerSlam 2022.
Majority of wrestling community did not find Liv credible enough to beat someone like Ronda Rousey. Cashing-in Money in The Bank contract felt okay, but the SummerSlam victory over Rousey irked the fans.
Apart from that, her run as a champion had been lackluster due to very poor mic skills and limited in ring ability. People gradually lost interest in SmackDown Women’s Championship due to that.
After SummerSlam, Morgan received a lot of hatred from the fans in the arena too. She was constantly booed by the fans but Liv refused to answer them.
Talking about this on the ‘Bleav in Pro Wrestling’ podcast, Liv Morgan said –
“I was giving a promo in the ring and the fans were furious at me. I faced a reality that I will never forget and I am thankful that I got a chance to experience it.”
She further said,
“It feels weird because I am being booed. But I needed it. I realised it’s the truth, you’re the champion. You’re representing the company. You’re representing the title. Whatever you do matters.”
